faster than for previous versions of Opera. This is more significant than it seems, mainly because Opera’s competitors Firefox and Safari (and Internet Explorer with IE 8 beta) are all giving superior loading times as compared to the old Opera browser. This update means that Opera will now be within competitive distance to other browsers.

Other significant changes include: more supported languages (Indonesian, Ukranian, Estonian, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil), Opera Link (enables you to take your search history, preferences, etc with you when you use different PCs), Feed Preview, low bandwidth mode (essentially various tweaks that save bandwidth, such as it does not automatically download attachments for your e-mails) and Opera Scroll Marker. One thing is for sure, any new feature that Opera makes available is soon brought over to Firefox through either the plugin community or in their latest update. For a full list of details regarding the above mentioned improvements visit the official Opera website.

For some reason I never feel as comfy with opera as with Firefox or even Chrome.
